In mainstream Christianity you see a lot of babies getting baptized. That is not proper. For one baptism is a public declaration to serve the creator. Romans 10:10, Hebrews 13:15
Babies or even infants are not aware of the seriousness of this decision. This is a bad move.
Second, in the Bible there is no record of babies getting baptized. Only when they are " men and women", or at least people who are competent and know what they are getting themselves into. Acts 8:12
All humans are sinners, even babies. Romans 3:23
The blood of Jesus cleanses us of sin not baptism. 1 John 1:7
Jesus was sinless, but he had to set the pattern for dedication. Mark 1:7,9
